Ea2Sa Enterprise Context View - (Business Viewpoints)
Purpose
This view provides a high-level contextual overview of how the Ea2Sa (Enterprise Architecture to Solution Architecture) model is organized. It is intended to orient stakeholders and practitioners by illustrating the relationship between enterprise-wide services and domain-specific business areas across the organization.
Description
The view depicts a centralized Enterprise-Wide layer that delivers shared architectural, governance, and enablement capabilities consumed by multiple business and industry domains. These enterprise services operate horizontally across the organization, supporting consistent delivery, reuse, and alignment without assuming ownership of domain execution.
Business and industry domains (e.g., Financial, eCommerce, HR, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Sales) represent areas of operational responsibility. Each domain maintains its own capabilities, processes, and systems while leveraging common enterprise services for governance, technology enablement, and strategic alignment.
Architectural Intent
This view establishes a clear separation between:
Domain-specific execution and accountability
Enterprise-wide enablement, governance, and shared services
It reinforces a capability-driven, service-oriented enterprise architecture approach aligned with TOGAF principles and the Architecture Repository structure.
Scope
Enterprise Architecture enablement and governance
Shared services (Ea2Sa Enterprise Services, PMO, IT / DevOps, AI Center of Excellence)
Business and industry domains consuming enterprise services
Usage Guidance
This view is intended as an entry point to the Ea2Sa architecture repository. It should be used for stakeholder orientation, architectural communication, and as a navigational reference to more detailed domain, capability, application, and solution views.
