Alerting Service
Description
The Alerting Service evaluates metrics and defined thresholds to detect abnormal conditions, performance degradation, or service outages. It provides proactive notification capabilities that enable the IT Cloud Support Team to respond quickly to operational issues before they escalate.
Alerts generated by this service are driven by metrics surfaced through the visualization and metrics layers and are routed to appropriate notification or incident management channels.
